Audley Harrison back to face Rogan

Audley Harrison will face Martin Rogan on September 6 at the M.E.N Arena as Frank Warren's season-opener just gets bigger and bigger. Sydney Olympic gold medallist A-Force will look to get his world title ambitions back on track against the unbeaten Irishman in Manchester. He will tackle Rogan in a 10-rounder. The pair had been due to meet in Birmingham in July, but the fight was resceduled. "I'm delighted that the Rogan fight has been rearranged so quickly," said Harrison. "I'm looking forward to getting my career back on track, and defeating Rogan will be the perfect way of signalling my intentions." Now training in America, 36-year-old Harrison is aiming for a world title opportunity in 2009. Top of his hit list is Rogan, 37, who is unbeaten in 10 fights and won the recent Prize Fighter Tournament, which saw him tackle three prospects on the same evening. Alex Arthur's WBO World Super-Featherweight title defence against Nicky Cook tops the card in Manchester along with Amir Khan's defence of his Commonwealth lightweight title Also on the card are Paul Smith in an English middleweight title challenge against Steve Bendall, Steve Foster Jnr in an English super-featherweight title challenge against Femi Fehintola, Matt Macklin in a 10 rounder, plus Matthew Hall, Steve Bell, Anthony Crolla, Denton Vassell and Stephen Smith.
